The added air mass and velocity enhances performance from exhaust systems (larger diameters), air intake kits, larger displacements, street or race cams, a larger turbo, etc. The remanufacturing process includes full inspection of your throttle body to ensure proper operation after the remanufacturing process. We then disassemble and bore the original 2.4-inch (63 mm) to a 2.6-inch (65 mm) diameter. The entire throttle body is cleaned, degreased and the internals are polished to create more laminar flow.
